2011 Red Cross Lottery Rules and Regulations
Tickets must be purchased from within the Province of Ontario. Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. The following persons and their immediate families, living in the same household, may not purchase tickets: The Canadian Red Cross Ontario Zone 2011 Lottery Operations Team; Ontario Zone Council, The National Board of Governors; and the employees of registered gaming suppliers to this lottery. By entering this lottery, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read and understood the rules and regulations and confirm that they are at least 18 years of age and are ordering tickets from within the Province of Ontario.
Draws: All Draws will begin at 10:00 am and will take place under the supervision of Deloitte & Touche LLP, at their offices at 1 Concorde Gate, Suite 200, North York, M3C 4G4.

VIP Draw - May 3, 2011 – Cutoff midnight April 21, 2011

Bonus Draw #4 – May 31, 2011 – Cutoff midnight May 19, 2011
Early Bird Draw – June 7, 2011 – Cutoff midnight May 26, 2011
Final Draw – June 21& 22, 2011 – Cutoff midnight June 9, 2011
On each draw date, all draws will begin with the prize of least retail value and be drawn in order to the prize of highest retail value. Where there is more than one prize of the same value, all cash prizes will be drawn first. If there is no cash prize then the prize item with the highest quantity will be drawn first. All draw dates and start times will remain as noted above should tickets sell out early. After each winning token is drawn and recorded by Deloitte & Touche LLP, it is returned to the drum and is eligible for all subsequent draws. Winners will be notified by mail with instructions on how to redeem their prize. Winners of major prizes may also be contacted by phone. Winners agree to the use of their name and photo for publicity purposes by Canadian Red Cross. A list of winners will be mailed to all ticket purchasers on or before August 17, 2011 and a searchable list will be published at www.redcrosslottery.ca on July 3, 2011. A full list is available to all residents of Ontario upon request by calling the Red Cross at 905-890-1000.
Tickets+: Only 120,000 tickets will be printed. 114,000 tickets will be available for sale at a cost of $40 each or in multi-packs of 3 for $100 or 4 for $125. Tickets are not tax deductible. The additional 6,000 tickets will be awarded as prizes. All tickets in a multi-pack must all contain the same primary name and mailing address, and can only be mailed to the address of the primary purchaser. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties. Up to three names can appear on tickets. Only tickets that have been paid for, and have been verified as paid for by Deloitte & Touche LLP, are eligible for the respective draws. All valid tickets are eligible for all draws in accordance with these rules and regulations. The total prize package is valued at $1,351,848.51 (includes all taxes and freight). Prize values stated are retail at the time of tender. All inquiries, if any, regarding the “chances of winning” are to be made to the licensee prior to the purchase of tickets. The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the tickets. All tickets will be issued in sequential order. Tickets cannot be reimbursed once draws commence. In the event of an invalid cheque or credit card payment, tickets issued will be considered void and the primary purchaser will be notified in writing. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers to ensure that they receive their tickets; however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand in order to be included in the respective draws. Please allow a minimum of three weeks for delivery of tickets.
Prizes**: 7,073 prizes will be awarded. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, No substitutions will be allowed except where a cash alternative option is specified. All prizes must be redeemed within one year of the Final Draw date. Bonus Tickets won as prizes will be automatically entered into all draws on the draw proceed the date the tickets were won and will be eligible for all subsequent draws. All Bonus Tickets won will be issued in the name and address of the primary purchaser of the winning ticket and are not transferable. Bonus Ticket winners will be notified immediately via mail of their additional entries. The winner of the Early Bird car must accept the car as awarded or may select the cash option of $20,000. The winner of the VIP Car, and the 4 other car winners may choose any 1 of the 10 vehicles listed OR may select a cash option of $33,000. Winners of vehicle prizes are responsible for licenses and insurance costs and for pick up of their vehicle from the supplier dealership. All other prizes will be delivered, free of charge, to winners.

Prize Values are rounded to the nearest dollar.
Vacation Prizes are awarded in the form of a travel voucher for the amount stated. Winners of travel prizes may select a cash option for the equivalent amount of the vacation prize won.
Ticket distribution and draw control by the professional services firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. The records of Deloitte & Touche LLP shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers.
